My 2007 QX56 has 112K miles on it, looking for input on preventative maintience. I want to keep this vehicle on the road for well over 200K miles, so my questions are about replacing timing chain, guides and tensioner. What I have found online indicates that the chain should last for the life of the engine. I noted that if the chain fails, it can cause some major mechanical issues (called interference). The Owner's Maintience Schedule from Infiniti does not show replacing any of the timing chain parts.
Should this timing chain, guides, tensioner and water pump be replaced if there no problems with those components as of now?
