They never really said if they found a source but the 3rd time I took it in they said they replaced half the engine. It ran fine after that (other than the top AC blower making noises and not working for just one day) for about a month and a half. Then I drove about 25 miles one morning (hit nothing) and when I got there my car leaked oil...and a lot. It sat for 2 days (while we went out of town in someone else's vehicle) and when we came back it stopped and hasn't leaked since. We hadn't had the oil changed recently (it wasn't due yet). My husband just convinced himself that the oil spot was old (even though it was very wet) so he won't look into it. I know it was my car...there was a trail and it was a sealed driveway and garage. What could be causing this??? I know it's not normal to leak a lot of oil and suddenly stop.
