2004 QX56 Aftermarket Cross Drilled Rotors noise?

I installed after market cross drilled rotors with semi metallic break pads,
every time i break it makes a shhhhhhhhhh noise...
anyone know why? and how to get rid of it?
i was told it was normal till the breaks wear in?
