Tonight my 2002 I35 started loosing power at a traffic light. When my gf pressed the throttle the RPM's did not increase. It would not start by the time I got there. I jumped the car off and she idled for about 10 minutes before the headlights dimmed. No other lights showed before I noticed the headlights dim, but by the time I got back in the car all the dash lights were on. I charged it again and she moved on and off the tow truck just fine. This sounds like a failing alternator to me, but I wanted to see if anyone on this forum had any other ideas or tests I should try to confirm my initial diagnosis. Are there any good service manuals for this car?
