Hello World,
I recently took my 01 Infiniti I30 to my regular mechanic to have it checked out because out of nowhere when I started the car it was shaking when it was in park and worse when I put it on Drive. Well I take my car to the shop (the car still shakes when driven) he tells me its the ignition coils and that I have 6 of them and I would have to replace 1 by 1 to solve the problem. He charged me $125-140 for the part and plus labor cost me around $372. Service was done and I picked it up and it drove fine but today it acted up again so i'm thinking DAMM I gotta spend another $372 to fix this problem when it might act up again because of the remaining 5 ignition coils. I dont want to be spending over a $1,000+ for my car. I was just wondering if this sounds right to you guys with experience. Does the price sound reasonable? Is this even the problem? Help people?
Thanks Karl
