I have a Infiniti I30 and I like to know why is the TCS always on? Shouldn't it be off when driving on a normal day that's sunny? I thought you should only have TCS on when there's snow or ice on the roads.

All cars that have TCS have it turned on by default. TCS can't detect road conditions. It only detects tire slipage. I made the fatal mistake of disabling the TCS on a warm sunny day in my 04 GTO and proceeded to total it within one mile because the back end tore lose going into a turn. I am sure a FWD Infiniti would have a hard time doing the same thing, but TCS is a safety feature and it is there for more reasons than plowing over slippery roads.

If you have a TC button, you can disable it if you like, but you will have to turn it off each time you restart the vehicle.
