The other morning, my key would not turn in the ignition...after wiggling the key a few times, i managed to get the key to turn when I insert the key at a certain angle. The car started, however, the next day, The same thing happened with the key not turning, put it in at a certain angle, but the car engine would not turn over, and it cranked weird as well, sounding like the battery was dying or something. Should I replace the ignition cyliner or the switch?

I had my ignition switch replaced a few years ago. .. It looks like you have a mechanical issue with your switch, so it needs to be replaced, no matter what else is a problem. Consider your key may also be worn?

Your battery may or may not be the problem, since the ignition could be a cause?

Easy to have your battery checked, and if your battery is more than 4 years old, it would be a good idea to change it anyway.. ( especially if you live in a warm area)
