Hello. My husband and I are looking to sell his 1998 I30t (touring edition). It's the really dark green (looks black at times) exterior with beige leather interior. It's got 115k miles on it and is in great condition except for a rusted frame under the radiator. It failed inspection last week because of this one thing. [I've been told that this is a very common problem with I30s and Maximas.] This car has been a dream to drive for 12 years now and, if not for this problem, he'd still want to keep it. It's been very well maintained and we are the only (adult) owners. We are in Palmyra, VA (about 20-25 miles from Charlottesville and 40 miles from Richmond).
We don't know what kind of asking price to start with because of this one condition issue. Once fixed (auto body shop needs to add a support), this would make a great car. Or, maybe someone would want to use it as a spare for parts. The wheels and tires alone are probably worth over $500 right there. Remember, it's the touring edition, so it's got the nice wheels and the tail on the trunk, too. It really is a sharp looking car still. If anyone is interested in the car, please email us at: fulfs@msn.com. I just joined this forum today to see if anyone is interested in the car. As such, I'm at work and don't have a picture ready to post. I'm going to try to get some photos of it tonight, and I'll email them to anyone interested.
Thanks. Lisa
