1998 i30 starting problems

Hi, I own a 1998 i30, in extremely good condition. I love it. I have an intermittent starting problem though. Battery checks out, alternator checks out and yet ever so often it acts like the battery is dead. A few minutes on a charger and it fires up fine. Can anyone shed any light on possible problems? Low gas

What's your gas level? My '98 I30 will take a few seconds longer to start when it's cold or when my fuel level is a fourth or below. Is there a lot of corrosion on the battery? If those are not the case, get an inspection done and see what the problem may be.

Change you fuel filter and see if that works...
