I'm considering buying a well maintained 1993 Infiniti j30 with 140k miles on it. I'd like to get two years out of this car without too much reapair expenses. The brakes have been done. If this is as reliable a car as a toyota camry or honda accord I'd be really happy. If its a money-pit I'd like a Jaguar I'd like to know. Any advice/experiences with high mileage Infiniti's appreciated.

Above is a free site with reviews from owners we use it when we swap cars.

Overall i have owned an high mileage Infinti which was a great car and the engine was like new and general condition ware and tear etc was very good still in fact like new also i have owned 5 Nissan's which have all been great and a brand i seem to stick with now.
So mileage wise i cant imagine will be a prob if services and beltsetc have been done.

I bought mine as salvage with 450+k miles on it, and its running like a champ, its all about doing routine maintenance on your vehicle, and remember always replace your oil after three months.

I have 260k miles and mechanically it runs great. However, no stereo, no sunroof, no ac. Those are the kind of things you can spend a lot of money on, or you can be a cheapo like me and ignore them as long as the windows go up and down and the heater works. Suspension issues can get pricey. But overall, probably the best running engine I've ever had, definitely the most miles i've put on one.

Hey J30 owners. I'm new here so I thought i'd be sure to speak 1st. But I too have a 93 J30 that I purchased in 95 with 44k miles on it. I now have 242k miles on it & its running better than ever. The only thing that doesn't work correctly on mine is the Sunroof. It still has power but it gets stuck midway if I try to open it...

So did you end up buying it? I too just bought a 1995 J30 for a good price, mint conditions just need rear struts mainly, I know what mean about money pit, had a 2000 740il BMW, expensive parts. Sold it.
