t just jumps to nuetral,what is it? when im excelerating under 30mph it feels like the car just jumps into neutral and i have to pull over and restart the car,this happen every now and then,can anyone tell me what could be the problem?
It sounds like you have a bit of an interesting problem there. First you may want to check the transmission fluid level, it's possible that a low level will cause a loss of pump pressure and a resulting loss of band/clutch holding ability. I know that the J has a gated shifter and there is a defined D range but you may have an issue with the ECM thinking the gear range is wrong.
