07' QX56 Exhaust Help!

hello guys, I just created this account after lurking around for a while. Now, here's my problem.. I just put my truck in the shop for a bumper paint job and I noticed my muffler was hanging dangerously low, they clamped it twice as a temp fix until I got a weld job, both times it held less than a day. To make a long story short, I need a new tail pipe and muffler and my body shop guy is telling me he can't find any aftermarket for an 07' QX56... and that the OEM are $500.00 each for $1k total...that can't be possible can it? any and all help would be greatly appreciated.... I'm looking for a nice sounding quality exhaust if possible.
 
there are a few options out there. you can look for the armada cat back systems and exhaust as they are both the same truck. past 2011 things change but for your model year just search for nissan armada.

off the top of my head, gibson and magnaflow (i have a magnaflow on my 2012) and borla offer some options. also any good muffler shop can custom make you an exhaust. worth looking into...
 
Thanks, but would I need to get a full Cat back if I only need a tail and muffler? which one. Will give me a throatier sound? if possible can you send me a link
 
As Marc stated above, if you are only needing some pipe and an exhaust bracket, any muffler shop can make you one fairly inexpensive. A full system from the following links will run up the tab. You get what you pay for.

okay for the Borla i can't find anything for the 07' qx56, however i found it for the 07' armada, you're saying that is compatible correct?
 
as far as exhaust is concerned, they will work.

the armada, titan and qx up until early 2010 were made at the same plant in canton mississippi.
