'06 M dashboard lights gone crazy

I have an '06 M35 with 55K mi. Yesterday the dealer changed the oil. This morning my dashboard lights were crazy. The little red seatbelt man blinked even though my belt was fastened, no speedometer, fuel was zero (I filled yesterday), odometer registered the miles ok but when I drove there was no increase.

The cruise control didn't work. Everything important did work, lights, engine, brakes.

After 10 miles it corrected itself. I called the dealer -- he'd never heard of such a thing.

Anybody have a guess?

06 M Dashboard lights going crazy

Neilwig - did you ever learn what was causing your problem? I started having similar issues the last few days. New battery last week and now the button to roll the driver window up doesn't work, the sun roof is intermittent and doesn't open completely, my nav says "System Loading" for awhile whenever I start the car, and now all of my dashboard lights are out.

Until needing the new battery, I've never had ANY problems with this car, it's really been the most reliable car I've ever owned. Any thoughts????
