01 I30 Anyone replace front CATs?

I have not verified it yet, but I have been told that this I30 needs a front CAT. This is my friends 01 I30 and he allowed a a bad O2 sensor and check engine light stay on for about 8 months and Infiniti said he needs a CAT. This is probably due to the system not going into closed loop and running rich for so long

I am currently looking for the OBD2 connector to confirm what code is being set

Has anyone replaced the 2 FRONT CATs?
