headlights

Anyone else with this problem? Happens to me intermittently. I push the button, all the lights come on just fine but ignition doesn’t work. I had the battery checked at Advance Auto, he said it was fine but had to turn on headlights for a bit to get the juices flowing. Happened to me again...

We are a body shop with a 2001 I30 touring and xenon headlights. Both headlights are cracked and the customer wants a cheaper fix, they are willing to install cheaper aftermarket halogen assembly. Has anyone done this? What exactly is needed. Thanks Vince
