I have a 2010 qx56 and I want to mount rims from a 2020 qx80 on it but the lug nut system is completely different as is the thread pitch on the studs. Does anyone know if someone makes or can make lug nuts that will let me mount the 22" qx80 rims on my 2010 qx56 (old body). The lug nuts on my 2010 are conical and the 2020 rims are not set up for conical. If you have experience with this please let me know.

When I got my QX80 years ago, I sold the OE wheels to a friend with an 08 QX56. All you would need are M12 x 1.25 mag seat wheel lugs. The OE QX80 wheels are hub-centric and will sit on the 1st gen wheel hubs just fine.

Would you happen to have a source for the required M12 x 1.25 mag seat wheel lugs?

Thanks for the info Primo!

I do have a question based on the comments made by the tire tech. PIcked up an OEM lug from the Infiniti dealer and measured it. The shank or shoulder is 20mm on the correct lug. The lugs I've seen including the link above are 2mm thinner and there is a good bit of play side for side within the hole of the rim. The OEM lug fits with 1/16 or so play. I have discovered they are hub centric, so the ring on the hub centers the wheel. I am just not sure hot tight the tolerance has to be with the fit of the shank/shoulder of the lug nut in the rim's hole.

Correction/clarification:
The correct lug for the wheel if mounted on the qx80, which is not the correct lug for mounting the qx80 rim on my qx56. The thread pitch on the qx56 is m12-1.25 while the qx80 is m14-1.5.

@primov8, so if I’m putting 2019 qx80 20” rims on my qx56, is that the correct link then for the lugs? I am also having the same issue.
