2015 qx80 grille on 2011-2014 qx56

Does any know if its possible to fit a 2015 qx80 front grille on a 2011-14 qx56??

anything is possible.

grab the service manuals for both vehicles and look on the front bumper section and note the attachment points.

assuming the body was not redesigned up front, it could be possible.

question is do you have access to purchase a new front?

if not, do you know how much the new front costs??? its extremely $$$$$$.

i think the limited version model has LED lamps and not HIDs so there may be some mods made to the harness...

I am only interested in changing the front Vented Grille with Camera. I know that the entire bumper headlights and fog lights would get pricey.

id have to get the cut out for the FLIR in front though....

I Concur I would want the cut out as well. I would love to hear jow labor intensive it was or if it was just a swap of the necessary parts.

I picked up the parts at a steal (i was able to get more for the parts i removed than what I payed for the entire 2015 parts). I did have to pay my buddy for the paint and install of the parts. Their were some electrical splicing as the blinkers are now above the fogs. From what he told me it was direct bolt on for the most part.
He has installed several LarteDesign kits which are well over 19K for the front and rear kit. He is located in the Dallas area.

The blinkers had to be spliced as they are above the fogs. The 2015 has 4 sensors and the 2011 had 2 so Im having to order 2 dummy sensors to fill the void. It looks so good that Ive had people ask me why it has a qx56 tag.. I ordered an 80 emblem and will be renaming mine to QX86...

I have a hard time leaving vehicles alone attached was my titan with an infiniti front end.. I couldnt wait any longer so purchased the suv but I really wanted the new titan and modify the frontend and interior to that of a QX

I want to update the front top Grill on my 11-14 QX56 to 15-16 QX80. No need to update the whole bumper and headlights. Has anyone done or know if its possible to only swap the top grill.

2015-16 QX80 Grill parts ordered for 2011

I ordered the 2015-2016 QX80 grill one ebay with out the camera and emblem. So I decided to order the front grill emblem on infinitipartsonline.com. I only received the emblem but not the black plastic mount to place emblem on grill and put front camera in. Anyone know where or how I can get the part to mount the grill and camera on the grill?

I'm in the same boat as you. I bought a grill for cheap but it didn't come with the emblem. I have yet to find the emblem and camera for the 2015+ grill on fleabay. Junk/salvage yards will be slim pickings for the 15s.

What I've found is if you plan to use the old 2011-2014 camera, it will not mount to the new grill without modification. The holes don't line up but that can easily be remedied by drilling new holes if you're using the old camera.

What I've been thinking about doing is buying the emblem and attaching it directly to the grill with adhesive without the back plate and then using the old camera.

go to a local infiniti dealer. give them your vin. they will look up the part for the car.

either get it from them or another online parts place.

I ordered the parts from Infinitipartsonline.com they are looking into getting the part. Only problem is my car is 2011. I need a 2105-16 VIN. They said they can't find a part number for part I need.

After going to an infiniti dealer, pro body shops and trying online to just buy the back emblem camera mounting plate with no avail I decided to purchase the entire camera, emblem and 2015 QX80 camera. Does anyone know if a 2015 qx80 camera is plug and play with a 2011 QX56??
