I just purchased a 2017 QX30 sport for my daughter's first car. The first thing I noticed while driving was the temperature gauge staying between the 1/2 and 3/4 mark on the temperature gauge. When stopped with the vehicle still running, the temperature would cool off nearly to the 1/2 mark, this would seem to be opposite of all other vehicles I've owned. I"ve seen on one post where this is normal running temperature. I checked the engine coolant and it was normal. Thanks for any feedback.

Mine does the same thing. From what i´m finding out thats ¨NORMAL¨ for these rigs. Kinda sketchy, but when everyone else has the same issue than its normal i reckon.

Yeah, ditto here! Sketchy describes it to a tee! I have read in other places that this is, in fact, normal. I'd venture a guess that the retuned MB engine (for Infiniti specs) caused the slightly higher operating temperature and the gauge wasn't adjusted.
