those are leds if memory serves. depends on the year and warranty of your car. if its under warranty take it in.

Unfortunately not, but we have a great relationship with the service guys- maybe they can give some direction

i read on another forum i think of someone who had a similar issue. i think it was a second gen armada which has the same cluster as the qx. i think they mentioned they found a 3rd party shop who stated they cold repair this. ill see if i can find that thread...

this cat had an issue with the middle display unit not showing the mileage, etc. he found a shop that can repair. maybe give them a shout to see if they can fix your issue:

Combination Meter - Information Display not working
Has any one encounter this issue where the information display on the dash combination meter stop illuminating? everything (All other meters work just fine) works. I now can't see my current ODO reading etc. I'll send a picture as soon as I get off work. This is what I mean. The bottom center...
