How do I check the AC fuse on 2001 Infiniti QX4?

Today i put my AC on Econ for a while. When I switched back to Auto, the fan no longer worked. I cannot get it to blow any air. I would like to check the fuse. I found it, but can't get it out. The manual says to use the "fuse puller", but unfortunately, it does not say where it is or what it looks like. I can't find one, and assume I don't have one.

Is there a chance it is in fact just a blown fuse?

If so, how do I get the fuse out, and how do I confirm whether it's blown?

If it's not just a fuse, I assume I need to take it to the dealer. However, they also service our Lexus, and between the 2 cars, I rarely get out of there without spending $500-1000.

Thanks very much in advance.

Fuse puller is small white plastic square in bottom right of interior fuse panel. You can also use needle nose plyers or tweezers if the oem puller is missing.
