2020 QX80 infotainment problems

Hello everyone, hope someone here can help me. I have been dealing with this on and off for a year without finding a solution and I am about to drive the damn thing off a cliff. We have had issues with the HDMI in the infotainment where I get an HDCP error. We have tried MULTIPLE cables and there is no way of it working with any device if the video is coming from HULU, Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney +

if anyone has a solution I would love to hear it!! thanks for helping.

can you play ANY video at all? if you can, then it sounds like a licensing issue with those streaming networks.

there have been people with 2020/2021 model qx's with various issues related to the infotainment.

in your case it could be:

faulty HDMI port
poor/old standard hdmi cable
an issue with the actual head unit/infotainment system that is hardware related

does it give you a specific hdcp error? any error code?

can you go to a dealer and try another qx on the lot?

what has the dealer said about it? your car is still under warranty.
