Default Need help with Q45T skipping part 2

PART 2-------------So he actually finishes the car about 9:00 pm! He tells us "You're good to go!" So we begin our trip and it skips almost immediately! So apparently this guy can't fix it and he does shoddy work like he didn't attach the hose to radiator very well. Luckily my buddy, a different mechanic, noticed it before it caused a problem and he also noticed they didn't replace the plastic gravel guard or skip plate the keeps the road dirt and grime away from the engine. After the first mechanic replaced the coils 1+2 the misfire codes went away but it was still skipping. So my buddy who is a rock-star mechanic replaced the harness and both knock sensors with OEM sensors and the knock sensor codes went away and he did it WITHOUT removing the intake manifold! I drove the car home and it STILL skips once in a while but there are no codes! It doesn't skip nearly as bad but it does skip at long lights while just idling! Please help with any ideas you might have! Thanks for reading!

Best to change ALL the coilpacks at one time - and there is a reason - the computer can get mixed messages from old and new coilpacks - so as a rule replace all 8 coil packs with the same kind - This car is all about the coil packs and plugs - to keep them running optimal. Plus they have a sensitive throttle body. I have a 99 and it started stuttering at stop lights - I changed all 8 coilpacks with Hitachi - replaced all plugs with OEM plugs, cleaned fuel rail and completed injection clean out. Cleaned out throttle body - I have no issues anymore and just drove 511 miles on 20 gallons of gas = 25.1 miles per gallon
