Default 2015 QX80 P0307 Code

Just bought a used QX80 with 26K miles, 3 days after we got it, the engine light came one. Brought it back to the dealer - Code P0307 came up (misfire). They replaced two injectors - didn't work. They just replaced the ECM today - didn't work (I was told Cylinder compression is good).

ANY THOUGHTS????

Thought is you are totally under warranty! Keep taking it back. Random misfire or just a certain cylinder?

Cylinder 7 - I was told it was the GAS. The engine light is out, but it still seems to rev a bit. Not sure if something is off or I need to get used to the way it drives?

What gas are you using in it?

Not sure, the dealer had filled it up - using 93 (prem) now.

I have a hard time believing that it was the gas causing a misfire, but if it doesn't come back, awesome.

Me too - and it came back on today. This time, it's P2097 Post Catalytic Fuel Trim System Too Rich Bank 1

They are picking it up today and taking it for service.

Sounds like you may have an ignition problem, bad plug or coil pack, or maybe your upstream sensor is reading incorrectly. Be aware there is a good chance this could cause your catalytic converter to fail prematurely.

Thank you for the feedback - I was told they replaced an sensor, I am guessing O2 - they said the light is off and it is running good. They are going to keep a couple more days to to ensure it's fixed.

Light came back on (two codes, P0300 & P0307) - I took it to a different dealership, they replaced all 8 Injectors and Spark Plugs. Was told it was running better, but there is a combustion problem. After a week and 1/2, they said the issue is with one of the Cylinder Heads (deemed a defect), they replaced both. I was told today, that it is running 100%, picking it up tomorrow.
