Default Dealer offer to buy back/trade for new model

My previous dealer reached out to me earlier this am with an offer to buy our 15 80 back and trade for a new model. Are the 17's out yet?
Any changes to them from the 15?
I will have a look around tomorrow on the lot while mine is in for service.
Have any of you guys traded in this early before?
We traded our 12 in February 2015 for the 15 we have now.

Haven't seen anything yet in the Northwest, but should be soon. Lot's of 16's on sale. Nice the dealer came back to you, liked your business.

Let us know what you find out.

Looked at several 17's in Memphis Thursday.
Dealer offered to upgrade to the loaded (not limited) model. So far he's comes off 8k from invoice. Waiting to hear back from the dealer that contacted me and see what he says.
I'll keep you guys posted.

For the heck of it, I called about the 2016's. On the cheapest one, the only one under 80K, was 12K off the MSRP. I thought they might do a little better, but that response was by email, in person, maybe a better shot.

My local dealer has no 2016's and few 2017's on the lot already ... no limited versions yet.

I have to go in for 5K mile service and few annoyances to be addressed. So asked to drive a new 2017 with 22" wheels to see how it rides compared to mine. I have this pesky harmonic at 1600 rpm / 65 mph and know it wasn't there brand new.

You should also check for affiliate discounts ... Nissan/Infiniti offer these to numerous organizations. Access to 2 savings per year and can transfer their discount. It's not big money, but decent on a QX80 ... around $2500 but it comes off the base price before any incentives/discounts so worth checking around.

I've never heard of this but I will ask. Thanks for the tip.

https://www.insidenissan.com/home.psp

See NNA Affiliate Program ... that is the one that can be transferred to friend or family member.

As I recall, (once logged in), it will show you VPP prices for vehicles on the dealer lot. You than subtract the incentives/programs from that base price.

Good Luck
