marctronixx, sorry for the teaser. I think I may have posted it over at CA awhile back, along with the DRL mod I did with the headlights. If not, I'll try to get a link up once we get back from our trip next Wed.

Tease no more. Found/linked the video. We'll catch up when I get back.

Wow!!

Where did you buy that one from?

Did you tap it into the factory signal lights?

Another CA member I see. I'm on there as well

Alright, back to reality and looking forward to another getaway soon.

I bought these from Amazon. This version can be wired multiple ways; at the moment, I have them wired in unison to work with the signals/flashers as they flash in a sequential pattern. I wired them to also work with the parking/headlights +12V via the rear hitch harness. They have a wire to work with the brake lights but they'll flash like strobes and I've seen so many of those types of brake light bulb strobe LEDs... just straight out corny and tacky.

So in essence they are additional brake lights. They come on with the parking lights, they go bright when you press the pedal , and they animate like the Audi brake lights do correct?

Got a set coming this weekend.

That is correct. All I did was wire/splice them onto the corresponding signal wires from the rear hitch harness (i.e. left signal, right signal, 12+, ground -)

The only wires I didn't bother connecting were for the brake-strobing effect. IMO, I've always felt those brake-strobing bulbs look stupid and corny so I didn't want that look on my truck.

Agree on the strobing thing. I started seeing them around LA and it looks soo autozone-ish.

Thx boss!

I have actually never spliced anything into the factory wiring before but am willing to try.

The leds I purchased off ebay have the following wires:

Black wire to Negative
White wire to Brake Light (100% Brightness)
Red wire to Driving Light (50% Brightness)

I assume I would need a positap to splice to the wiring in factory trailer harness?

This might be easier to use https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F233289871270

I believe you can attach the junction box and keep the hitch cover on. I will order it and try.

I assume those Infiniti logo lights are from ebay? They look sweet.

Could you share a link of the rear led reflectors so I can see how it's wiring is supposed to be?
