Infiniti creates guest-centered virtual reality experience
Aug 13, 2015 - 11:42 AM - by Infiniti Forum

Infiniti is partnering with TEN: The Enthusiast Network during the 2015 Pebble Beach automotive week to bring to life a collective, high-technology experience showcasing the brand's evolving design and performance.

Through a new virtual reality experience, Infiniti is giving driving enthusiasts the opportunity to not just see, but actually feel what it's like to take the wheel of two of its newest and most exciting concept cars. The "Dream Road" at the Infiniti Pavilion at Pebble Beach Concours Plaza transports guests to the driver's seat of the Q60 Concept, which was revealed earlier this year at the Detroit Auto show. The exhibit lets guests virtually experience the performance of the next generation coupe on some of the world's most exhilarating drives, including Italy's Stelvio Pass and the stunning Atlantic Ocean road in Norway. Infiniti teamed with CXC Simulations and professional drivers to replicate the real-world physics of every bump, acceleration and turn of drive. The custom simulator recreates G-forces and tilt, providing a fully-immersive VR experience. Continue reading...

Jul 23, 2015 - 9:33 AM - by Infiniti Forum

Infiniti announced today that the company has developed and launched an innovative retail sales and service app for its retailers, ICAR-X (Infiniti Client Acquisition and Retention Experience), that streamlines the car-buying process.

ICAR-X, a newly developed software tool, enables Infiniti retailers to deliver a more efficient and premium sales experience using cutting-edge mobile technology. ICAR-X is designed to minimize known client "pain points," system redundancies and significantly speed up the car-buying process, thereby improving client satisfaction and the overall experience.

The most critical aspect of the dealership experience is the time clients spend in store, and according to an Autotrader Dealer Sourcing Study, customer satisfaction is at its highest within the first 90 minutes on the day of purchase. However, that number begins declining once time spent goes beyond 1.5 hours. At 2.5 hours, satisfaction drops below a buyers' average level of satisfaction. Continue reading and watch a video...
