Hello everyone.
I really like the way 05/06 M45 looks but I've never driven it. According to car magazine reviews there are not many lows to this car.
Now I drive 01 Lexus LS430 Ultra Luxury Edition which has every option. I love my car for it's bullet proof reliability, smooth ride, lots of gadgets, ample room in cabin, alot of comfort especially for long trips.
However there are a few things that I'm not happy about, for instance, a significant accelerator pedal lag (there is nothing wrong with the car) especially from the start and tranny "thinks" long when using kickdown.
I definitely do not want anything german because I want to drive and enjoy my car instead of getting it repaired all the time.
I really love the radar cruise control on my Lex, so as the pull in doors and trunk.
I know Infiniti has the intelligent cruise, is it the same or at least similar to one on my Lex? Does M45 has pull in doors and trunk? Also, Is the ride really rough on sport model and how does it compare to non sport?
The main question is reliability and parts cost, what's up in this department? Do mirrors fold electrically/automatically? Does a steering column auto retracts/folds? Is the M45 engine belt or chain driven?
From the interior pics of an M45 I saw that the drivers seat does not have a bottom cushion adjustment like I have on my Lex but I can live with that.
Any weak spots to look for in M45?

The M45 is chain driven not a belt, no need to change at 100k miles. I am looking at 2008 M45x models.
