I've heard the Audi TT isn't really that great of a car even though I've always wanted one. If you are into a sportier type of car, get the 350z. If you want a little more refinement go for the G35 or even G37.

I don't know much about the 3 but reading the top answer if the 350Z and G35 are evenly matched in horsepower but the G35 has more equipment than that would mean the G35 is slower than the 350Z obviously.

Hp wise the 350z and G35 are evenly matched. So now it all comes down to style which the G35 takes of course. If you can't afford that get the 350z. Same car just the G35 has luxury things. the 350z doesn't.

Infinity G35 is nicer looking, and more luxurious. I would go with that.

Having to buy specialized tools to set the front and rear alignment on a Audi TT is what ruined me. And it really was not that powerful. My friend after that traded it for a 3.4 liter Audi A-4 now that is a real car V-8 all wheel drive Quattro system. Don't get me wrong I work for Nissan but I also like all cars that can do three things well. Accelerate Stop and Corner hard.

I would go with the 350Z. Audis are expensive to repair. But if you get the 350Z or G35 get ready to change the tires and brakes often.

I've got both and they are completely different cars. Your question is more on the lines of should I get a horse or buy a boat.

However, my TT is modded to have approximately the same hp as my '08 G35x (~300). The TT is simply an awesome car and not as common as the 350Z or the G35, so it's somewhat distinctive.

It really depends on what you want. I have an '04 TT, but if you are talking about an '08 TT, you'd have a tougher decision. The older TTs are somewhat lacking in technology, such as navigation. Also, the TT stock AWD is fwd biased. You can get an aftermarket (same company, Haldex) performance controller that will give you more of a 50/50 balance.

My advice: Drive a couple and see what you like.

Another point. The TT quattro is probably a better choice if it ever snows or rains alot where you are if you are thinking small sports car.
