I've done some research and found that the stock wheels on my '04 G35 coupe with Brembos are 18X8 with a 30mm offset and a 5X114.3mm bolt pattern, which I've found is the same as 5X4.5in. Obviously, my stock wheels clear my Brembo brakes, and I assume any 18X8 wheel with a 30mm offset and a 5X114.3mm bolt pattern would as well. Am I wrong in my assumption, or are these the only things I need to look at when shopping for after-market wheels? I've found a set I like that are 18X8 with a 40mm offset, a backside setting of 6 1/!6 a bolt circle of 5-4.5, and a bore of 72.62mm. My immediate question, of course is will these wheels fit over my brakes? If not, do I need to look for wheels with an offset greater than 30mm, less than 30mm or must it be equal? What are the backside setting and bore, and how are they related to wheel fitment? I was unable to find the backside setting and bore for the OEM stock wheels. I know that's alot of questions, and I appreciate your time in answer
