New to teh site and new to Infiniti. Bought and picked up a 2011 M37x earlier this week:

Moonlight White/Java
Premium Package
Deluxe Touring Package
Carpeted Trunk & Trunk Net
Illuminated Stainless Steel Kick Plates
Splash Guards
Wheel locks

My last three cars were Acuras -- 2003 and 2004 TL's and a 2005 RL that I traded in on this car. Loved RL I had. Don't like their new styling.

Go here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lflorack/sets/72157626165240187/)for a few pics of the new M37x.

I look forward to reading about others with M37's.

I got the exact same car. mine is also white exterior with graphite interior. I'm loving it so far. Are you getting the schedule 1 maintenance package for 36 months through your dealership? I'm thinking of getting it.

I also know that we're only supposed to put premium gas in the car. what are your thoughts on that?

Yes, I bought the maintenance package because I normally get all maintenance at the dealer where I buy my vehicles.

As for premium, I defenitely use it. Infiniti calls for it, it runs better on premium and you won't really save anything because you'll normally see a mileage drop as well as a performance drop when not using premium. That's even if you don't worry about any possibility of damaging the car you just spent all that money on. To me, there's no upside at all to not use premium.

Hi what sort of economy do these cars provide please?.

The 2011 M37x that I have is currently getting 21-23 back and forth to work -- which is ~21 miles (each way) of admittedly 70%-75% expressway driving.

On the only trip that I've taken so far with it, ~380 miles (one way) through NY, PA and NJ I got 26.1 MPG. There were two of us in the car with weekend luggage. I did not use the A/C and had cruise set at 75-78, depending on traffic -- in standard drive mode. I did get to 85 a few times. When I got home, the trip computer said I'd averaged 71 MPH. In less hilly terrain, I might get a bit better MPG.

Honestly, all of this is higher than I expected from a 330 HP/4000 pound vehicle.

As they say: Your mileage may vary!:D
