Hi All,

I just traded in my 2007 M45 Sport for this 2011 M56 Sport. I was trying to decide between new BMW 550i and M56. The reliability of my old M45 made the decision easy. Love the car so far. The price finally came down to $1,100 under invoice, so I pulled the trigger. I plan on keeping this baby until the next generation comes out in 2016 or 2017. I got a fair trade on my old M45 and also took advantage of 1.9%. Also saved a lot of sales tax...thought about leasing but this was a no brainer. Specs and Pics below>

2011 Infiniti M56 Options:
Graphite Leather Interior
Technology Package
Sport Package
Sports Touring
Painted Splash Guards

I'm thinking about adding the spoiler...Just not sure it needs it like my old M45 did. What do you guys think?

The car looks absolutely gorgeous -- congratulations! No question the Sport Package enhances the vehicle's looks, but I'm curious whether you test-drove a base model for comparison? My concerns would be ride quality with those 20" rims (personally wish they'd stayed with 18 base, 19 Sport) and the "darty" 4-wheel-steer high-speed handling that some in the automotive press have complained about. Finally, I would not recommend the spoiler. The shape looks clean and right without it. I still aspire to buy one in a year or two... maybe a 35h though.

Thanks. I did end up getting the spoiler off EBay for $245 and installed myself (see pic)

The car is much quieter & smoother ride than the old M45 Sport. No, I did not test the base M56. I did drive the M37 and it just didn't have the torque I'm used too…. even with the horsepower being similar to M45.

The 20" wheels are a must IMO. Even for the M37. it makes a big difference in looks. I get so many compliments.

That spoiler does look good. What's the silver vehicle to your left... G37? Nice garage! :)
