i was looking up speed times on the maxima and the fx35, and i was surprised to see that the maximas manual times were better than the fx35. the fx35 only comes in automatic, so i was comparing the maximas manual times to the fx35s automatic times. im not interested in the maximas manual times though, im looking to know if an automatic 2000 nissan maxima could beat a 2006 infiniti fx35 in 0-60 and also in a quarter mile race

The Fx35 would win every time on grass, or dirt, or deep mud, or anything where a 4x4 suv has an advantage over a FWD sedan. Where do they hold these mismatched drag races anyway, it sounds fun to watch.

It would actually be a driver's race honestly. Power to weight ratio the Maxima has a slight advantage.

The Infinity outweighs the Maxima by over 1000 pounds and holds only a 58 horsepower advantage.
