I turn 17 in a year, which means I can drive without my parents. I stumbled upon this awesome SUV I found on cars.com. The Infiniti QX4 which just looked awesome in my opinion. It has all the features like heated seats for those cold days in my town, Bose sound system for my music, xenon lights, power everything, etc. Plus, I just saw on youtube it can go in deep water, which I need for flooding in my state, and need to get through without trouble. Also, I need an SUV to get through snow, and for safety. I need a car for college so I don't have to take the bus everyday and wait for it in the terrible weather. So what do you think? Can i afford it with $25 every friday for 4 years? And $3 every weekday except for summer? I have $5,000 saved up so far. The car I've seen gone for around $11,000 for the newer 2001 to 2003 models, think I can get the car befroe 2011? What do you think of the car? please tell me.

Also, what do you think of the 2003 Mercedes C230? Can it get through snow? I'm also planning to get a summer job for 3 summers if I have to, to pay for the car. My parents are gonna put me on their insurance plan. All I have to do is pay for gas and repairs. How much will the gas be on this kind of car?

Get the QX4, not a Mercedes. The Infiniti is practically unbreakable. They're great to drive and rarely need repair. As to the finances, you'll have to figure that out.
