Engine won't start when cold. Engine turns over and sounds like it is going to start any second but doesn't unless I step on the gas pedal. When it finally does start after sitting over night I can turn it off imediately then re-start it with no hesitation. but if I turn it off and let it sit for a hour or more it won't start unless I step on the gas pedal again. What could be the problem?

For all who have looked at my post, I have fixed my problem with a $7.00 can of MAF sensor cleaner. She starts up like new, and idles like new. If you are having the same problem as I was I would suggest going to your local auto store to purchase a can of this stuff. It is so easy to apply. If it didn't fix my problem (thank God it did) I would have replaced my fuel filter then finally the TPS.
