My review of m56. First of all i am shocked out how little coverage there is on this car, since its been out a month and the bmw 535 has already had multiple reviews and will not be out until this summer. Edmunds sums up the car well, the interior is awesome and the user interface for the navigation/radio/hvac is easy to use once you get the hang of it. I have never had a problem with buttons on the dashboard, much better than having an i-drive like system. Who cares about a clean center stack when you are driving at 80mph in traffic. Anyway, don't expect a cushy ride, this is a (very) large performance sedan and has a similar ride to the g37. The upside is amazing handling, this car responds to well to your steering input. I do wish this car had an adjustable suspension it is by far my biggest gripe. Same goes with the is-f. Maybe the new 5-series will have a better ride handling balance. The benz is the best in terms of ride quality but suffers in the fun to drive aspect despite having similar accelaration to the m56. Throttle mapping needs work to as the engine needs to be revved in order to really use the power, its a shame that such a large displacement v-8 requires this. Infiniti did a good job with the bose system in filtering out unwanted noise, there is not enough "wanted noise", perhaps that can be fixed with an aftermarket exhaust. i didn't get the car with the forest air system so i can't say how that works. So do i like this car. I LOVE it, it does everything, 420hp v-8, 4wd, infiniti reliability!!(big plus), amazing interior, awesome handling for a sedan easy electronic interface. Biggest gripes , rough ride, funky throttle mapping, screwy torque band, tamed exhaust note(although thats expected in this class), no longer a value leader. A mid cylce refresh in 2-3 years that addresses the way this car puts down the power and improving the ride will make it a class leader, i doubt cars like this will get much more powerful.

Hi, and congrats on your purchase! You must own one of the first on the road -- I'm still looking forward to seeing an M56/37 in the flesh. I am a very satisfied 2005 Acura TL owner at the moment (no flames please!), but am seriously considering buying the new M in a couple years (hence my user name). Regarding the ride quality, I'm wondering whether your vehicle is equipped with the Sport package with the 20" wheels(?). My other question -- excuse me if this insults your intelligence -- is whether you checked the tire pressure. I've known dealers and shops to over-inflate tires by up to 10 PSI above recommended pressure. Thanks!

didn't really think of the tire pressure, thing, i actually didn't get the 20 inch wheels or the sport package, it is just a tightly wound car, with awesome handling that belies it size, but it is not as smooth as i would like. Really doesn't matter when the car is in 3rd gear starting at about 3500 rpm, it is an absolute rocket. I will look into the issue with the tires, thanks for the info, btw no shame with the TL, ultra reliable, looks better than the new one, still looks good today, unlike my old g35 sedan which looks kind of old now

Just purchased a White/Stone with Silver Ash 3 weeks ago.. Absolutly love this car. By far the best car I've ever owned.

And I'm disappointed with a couple little issues. The outside temp reads 85 after sitting out for 30 mins here in 110 degree Palm Springs. Home Link works intermittently after being replaced. No help from dealer, nor Infiniti!
