I know it depends on what is being replaced but I just want a ballpark figure if I replace the most common things.

View Full Version : How much will it cost to replace the suspension on a 1997 infiniti qx4? maxpowerrys 01-22-2008, 06:30 PM I know it depends on what is being replaced but I just want a ballpark figure if I replace the most common things. vivatexas 11-24-2009, 06:35 PM I know it depends on what is being replaced but I just want a ballpark figure if I replace the most common things. I live in southern Mexico where there are no QX4s. Nissan quoted me nearly $3,500 for parts alone. I pared down their list because I had new shocks and struts. Ordered what I needed from InfinitiUSA.com. Discount web prices, one day shipping to Mexico ($99), and good support. My parts finally totaled about $600 plus shipping and customs. Don't want to make you jealous but we only pay around $10 an hour here for mechanics and they did a great job. I also added some Air Lift Air Springs (inflatable cylinders which go in the rear coil springs and cushion bottoming out and reduces sway. Speed bumps and holes in the road are very common here). The labor was around $60. I'm sure you can find a shop specializing in suspension and alignment there which can give you a good quote. Good luck!! |
