I pulled out of a parking space, drove about 3 blocks, then heard what sounded like a loud crash. I thought someone had hit me because of the sound, and also the car wouldn't move.

When I realized I hadn't been in a car accident, I thought maybe I just had a flat tire. I slowly pulled over to the side of the road, got out, and saw that the front left (driver's side) wheel and tire was turned into the car, at probably a 30 degree angle. Basically looks like that entire driver's side front has just given out. Scary, b/c I could have been killed if this happened on the freeway.

I had the entire car serviced at the dealership about 5 months ago, wherein they replaced the brakes, shocks, and struts. Could they have messed up something, which caused this to happen? What is this, and what is the proper terminology? If it's the dealer's fault, how can I get them to pay for the repairs?
