...play my burnt cd's? i already tried with sonic, supposedly assuring compatibility. Also i tried converting all the songs to .WAV, it plays it but with all this static noise as well. so what do i convert my songs to? or what the heck?

run a cd cleaner. preferably one with the liquid drops.... a few times. also, burn your cd's at a slower rate. like 4x's, maybe 8x's. The deck will have a lot easier time reading them.

I had a similar problem in my 2000 TL. since all my CDs are burned (I'm not paying $20+ for a cd, which only has 1 song I like), I found out that it plays Maxell really well...The ones with dark green recordable surface...
