Has anyone recently bought tires for an M45 that they could recommend?

As long as you retain the manufacturer's stated size, the brand of tire is strictly an individual choice. Some brands I have used are Goodrich, General, Toyo, Michlin and some others. Having had a bad experience with Firestone, now Bridgestone, I will never use that brand (either one) again.
