Thinking about buying one cash, how long do they last? what kind of maintenance and how many miles can I expect out of this car?

I think any M45 is a great car low miles and a clean carfax they are hard to beat for the $$$

I have an 03. I love it. The motors are strong, strong transmissions. I have had minor issues, driver side window regulator, and gas guage. Thats it. Otherwise, it's a chance to own a rare peice of USDM infiniti history. Only 9,000 were sold in the u.s. for the 03,04 years combined! Super rare.

Hi, I don't mean to thread hijack, but I am new here. I created an account because I am wanting to purchase an 03 Infiniti M45. So far I have my eye on 3 of them. I was reading a lot of reviews online and they actually scare me so I thought I would come here and ask actual owners.

Some say that they have issues with blue smoke coming out of the tail pipe after a while. Others say they have issues with door motor actuators, and the gas gauge is faulty. They also said that all this is really expensive to fix.

This kind of makes me want to steer away from buying one. however, i'd like to think not all have this problem.

ANy input/feedback would be greatly appreciated. Dru Down, you mentioned you actually had some of these problems.
