Im planning to buy a 2004 infiniti fx35. It's price is 20k and I was wondering how much do you guys think I can haggle off, off this car? I was thinking about haggling off 3k but is that resonable enough? Thanks for the help.

I have no idea the condition and the mileage, so it is impossible to answer your question.
However, a good friend of mine bought a 2004 Infiniti FX35 in excellent condition with 53K miles about 5 months ago and he paid $19K.

I'm not trying to jack your thread, but I too am considering a 2004 FX35...It's got 33k and appears to be in near mint condition.
My only concern is that there is a slight squeaking coming from the engine. It sounds like the alternator or something is squealing some. Is this cause for concern?
Also, are there any issues/problems that I should look for before buying this vehicle?
Thanks

I just bought a 04 (last week) FX35 for $19,700 @ a dealer. It was listesd at $ 22,700 originally and went on sale. It's the Sport w/ 20" factory alloys, Bose, sunroof, heated seats, etc....and 49,000 miles.
From a private owner, probably would have been $2,000 less -possibly. Most I saw were $ 21-$22k esp the Sport version.
I'm in Ga also.......

Sorry for the late response, new to the forum.
We just paid 20k for an 06 with 50,000 miles from a dealer in CT. No Nav, mint body, mint int. new tires and brakes. 2 year/20k on the factory warranty.
I think for an 04 17k to 18k is reasonable depending on miles, overall condition and options.

I got a FX35 with Nav/loaded for 20k. It has 40k miles.
Had for over a year now - Great Driving Car!
Only areas I don't care for is the brakes (weak) and too much cheap plastic inside. Doesn't stop like my Audi but then again, it doesn't weight the same as my Audi so probably par for the course. Overall - glad I bought!
