Hi,
Sorry ahead of time for the immediate question along with my first posting.
I purchased an 04 FX35 Pearl white/champagne leather fully loaded w Nav 6 months ago with 66K miles, and now 79K.. First time i had a problem with the car is when driving uphill to Big Bear mountains with the AC on, my car got a huge loss of power along with check engine coming on and transmission indicator gone.. ? ? I pulled over immediately and popped the hood open.. Did the regular checkups with oils and water. All in good shape. Then i decided to take off the battery connector and wait a few seconds before reconnecting in hopes of resetting it's computer. It sure worked transmission indicator when parked (P) came on and check engine light was gone. Continued driving and didn't have any issues. Then again the 2nd time on my way to Las Vegas driving uphill again it happened twice and i had to do the same with battery connectors.. ? Any idea and advice on what's wrong with my car will be appreciated. Tnx.
