Currently my car alarm randomly decides to go off. Usually it is in the middle of the night, so it ends up waking neighbors and I. Recently; I just take the fuses out to the horn so it cannot go off. Only problem with that is I lose cruise control and the function of my horn. So is there any way to disconnect the alarm system or would it be smarter if I left that up to the professionals?

i have the same problem with 2001 g20. did you ever resolve this?

Has the car been wrecked in the front end? There is a plunger switch underneath the hood that will set the alarm off if it goes up enough over a period of time. I would make sure it is depressed.
