I currently own an 2001 Infiniti Qx4 sport utility that has about 102,000 miles on it. How long do you feel I have left with this car. Is it more than 3 years because the lease on another car that I may want that I can afford is up after 3 years.

If you have taken care of the QX4, you got more than 3yrs left on the car. They are nice to drive...my '02 QX4 has 114,000 miles and runs like new. Just make sure that you are paying more attention to the car outside of the usual oil changes. Check the brakes, tires, suspension, etc. You pay attention to that and care for the car, it will keep you going for many more years.

All vehicles will last for hundreds of thousand of miles if you take care of them. Change fluids regularly, replace gaskets, belts, and items that are designed to wear out. I have 136,000 on my QX4. I bought it in rough shape, and the previous owner neglected it. So, I replaced all filters, fluids, belts, gaskets, and she runs like a dream.

170k & running great on my 2001

Met a guy in a parking lot with a 2002 186k miles never a problem, loves the vehicle. Probably depends on maintenance.
