tiptronic mode, if rpm reaches red? I have a 2007 Infiniti FX35. Its an automatic but i can also use the tiptronic feature to change gears by myself. While in tiptronic, when my rpms reach around the 7 marked by the redline, the car sort of jerks rather than shifting up a gear automatically. In Nissans, makers of Infiniti, while in tiptronic, the car automatically shifts up as soon as the rpms reach red. ???

Well, you shouldn't be reaching red anyway right...
