...answer this)? A guy told me that my egr valve needed to be cleaned or changed, which was a month ago. Prior to this my check engine light always comes on after at least 20 mins of driving, especially while driving at high speeds. I also noticed how if i slow down or stop at a red light, when i put my foot down on the gas paddle to drive off...the car hesitates to move. It will drive off slowly but eventually pick up speed. I also notice a weird noise but im not sure if it coming from the front or the back of the car. There is also stanky smoke coming from the back of the car. It's not dark or anything...more of a grayish/white color. =/

Anyways, I never got the egr valve changed and now my car is shutting off while i'm driving it. Then i'll have to restart it and then it shuts back off 5 mins later.

So my question is what's wrong with it?? And i need an good estimation of how much will it cost to be fixed. Also what's the best autoshop to have it repaired at in cobb county, Georiga??
