My car uses 1/4 to 1/2 a quart of oil during 3,000 mile intervals. Does this happen to anyone else who owns same vehical?

about 1500 miles after an oil change,the oil level on the dip stick is in between l and f,i drive in high revs all the time to get max power though,but i dont think it should be burning that much oil any way, i just add oil ,not sure why.
