the alarm went off and now i don't know how to turn it off i tried disconnecting the battery cables but it doesn't work.

you have to press unlock on the remote. However, if you do not have the remote, pull the fuse from under the driver side dash.

no no no, the antitheft will just keep you from starting the car anyway if its like the 93s, I should know mine went off, all you have to do is lock the door shut it, unlock it with the key and open the door, took my 5 minutes to figure that out the first time mine went off, talk about old folks havin' heart attacks in the trailer park.
